Bicycle Tour of Lake Champlain Islands 4th Annual

Bicycling Date: Fri July 13, 2018 - Sun July 15, 2018

All the charm of Lake Champlain Islands in 35-80 flat miles over scenic Vermont pavé roads (read: some unpaved sections), country stores, Adirondack & Green Mountains views, & dips in refreshing lake water.

The trip has all ingredients for relaxing yet active weekend: several stops at state parks, scenic views at every turn, multiple stops for locally fresh food, & frequent beach stops for opportunities to dip in the water. Plan on three days of riding: Friday morning through Sunday afternoon.

On one of the days we will cross into Canada: bring your passport & appropriate visa for non US citizens.

The Inn at the Isles is rustic with basic amenities & services, similar to a two-star motel. Food is fresh, water view is beautiful, & hosts are friendly.

The Old Schoolhouse is a charming hostel of three old class rooms with no more than six people same gender, twin beds, no bunks, blackboards, books, gracious hostess, & delicious breakfast.
